Selection Process

A candidate's selection is only guaranteed if they pass both tiers of the SSC CHSL examination.

One can get selected only when he has passed Tier-I and Tier-II. In Tier II, there will be a skill test or typing test and the computer knowledge test will be a qualifying nature.

How to apply for the SSC CHSL Exam 2024? 

As SSC is inviting the application forms on its new website, the registration done on the old website previously will be discarded. Thus, make sure to register on the new website (https://ssc.gov.in). 

Step 1: Candidates should visit the new website and then, click on apply and choose the SSC CHSL exam.

Step 2: Click on the “New User” option if you are seeking registration and password. 

Step 3: After filling in the data, upload the scanned photo and documents. Make sure to bear all the instructions in mind to upload the photos successfully. 

Step 4: Review the information that you have filled in. 

Step 5: Pay the application fee for the entire exam.

Step 6: Preview the form. 

Steps to Download SSC CHSL Admit Card

Once you are registered with the website for the exam, you will get a registration number and a password through e-mail or on your phone. 

Step 1: You have to carefully handle the registration number and password and then log in again to preview the data.

Step 2: The admit card will be generated for you on your account on the website one week or 15 days before the exam date of the Tier-I. 

Step 3: Download this admit card and then, get a printed copy of this card. 

Step 4: Appear for the Tier-I exam. 

Step 5: Regularly check the result and make sure not to change the e-mail that you have submitted on the form. 

Step 6: If you pass the first tier, an admission card will be generated for you on your account on the official website. 

Step 7: Log in to your account, get the admission card and appear for the second Tier. 

Step 8: Then, stay updated with the results. 

Step 9: The DV or Documentation Verification will be conducted by the User Departments/ Organizations after the declaration of the final result. This is the final round where you have to submit all the required documents.
