To appear in the SSC MTS 2021 examination, candidates have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
Nationality: A Candidate must be a citizen of India. A candidate from Bhutan or Nepal is also eligible for the exam. A Tibetan refugee who came in India before 1st January 1962 with an intention to settle here permanently is also considered as an eligible candidate for this exam. Candidate of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India will also be considered to sit in SSC MTS 2021 examination.
Educational qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10th exam (High school) from a recognized board. Candidates pursuing 10th will also be eligible subject to the submission of certificates whenever asked.
Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be within 18-25 years as of 01.08.2021. Age relaxation will be applied for reserved categories as per the norms prescribed. The date of birth mentioned in the Matriculation (10th) certificate or equivalent exam will be taken into consideration for age count.

Q.7 How to upload photo and signature while applying for onetime registration? Ans: The candidates are supposed to check the size and format of the photograph and signature files. The scanned color passport size photograph should be in JPEG file format and the photograph’s size should be in the range of 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height). Likewise, the scanned signature file should be in JPEG format and the file size should be in the range of 10 KB to 20 KB. In addition, the image dimension of the signature should be around 4.0 cm (width) x 3.0 cm (height). The candidate should note carefully that the image of the signature should occupy at least 75% of the frame. |

After getting verified through email or mobile OTP, the candidate will find his registration number and password getting displayed on the screen. Thereafter, the candidate will be prompted to change password and set a new password and keep it safely for future usage in the examinations. |
Q.10 While doing One-time Registration for the first time and saving data in the “Basic Information Tab”, if the system is giving a message that “User Already Exists”, then what to do?
Ans: It is advised to check your matriculation certificate. In case, ‘Roll Code’ is also given in addition to ‘Roll No’, then in the column 6 (iii) and 6 (iv) of the Registration Form, do enter your Roll No in the following format: “Roll Code”-“Roll No”. For instance, if the Roll Code given in your Matriculation Certificate is 12345 and Roll No is 1234567, then you have to enter Roll No in column 6 (iii) and 6 (iv) as 12345-12345
